Nora Gauvreau

Nora Ellen Gauvreau nee (Nielsen) in her 87th year passed peacefully in North Bay, Ontario on April 1st, 2026.

 Nora moved to Guelph Ontario and was a Real Estate Agent in the area for over 25 years, she also was a volunteer with Guelph Minor Hockey Mothers Auxiliary. 

 Nora was born in Elk Lake Ontario and was the eldest of 13 children. She is predeceased by Ronald Gauvreau; siblings Laura, Clara, Gloria, John, Lloyd and Sonny.  Survived by children Perry Gauvreau, Mandy Perissinotto; grandchildren Matthew Perissinotto, Allanah Perissinotto, Scott Gauvreau; great grandchildren Lilianna, Colton, Mason, Benjamin and Imogen; siblings Carl, Sid, Dale, Ruth, Ann and Dennis.

 Thank you to the staff at Cassellholme in North Bay who provided kindness and caring support during her stay, always making sure she could watch the Toronto Blue Jay games.

 She will be laid to rest in May at the Danish Cemetery Sunset Mindepark in Puslinch, Ontario with a private family celebration of life to follow at Sunset Villa. Online condolences can be made at www.hillsidefuneral.ca
