Norman Thibeault
It is with great sadness that the family of Norman Thibeault announces his sudden passing on Friday, March 7, 2025, in his 80th year.
Beloved husband of Marilyn (Marnie) Sawyer (née Souliere). Loving father to Conrad Thibeault (Linda, grandchildren Alyssa and Michael), and Stéphane Thibeault (Melissa, granddaughter Quinn). Stepfather to Laurie Lamb (Chris, grandchildren Connor and McKenna), and Jason Sawyer (Nicole, grandchildren Ayden, Shayla, Rylan, Jaxon, Alyssa, Jacob). Norm was predeceased by his parents Ralph and Cecile (née Poitras) Thibeault, his brothers Raymond, Simon, Bill, Henry and his sister Paulette. He is survived by his brothers Orville Thibeault (Alice), Denis Thibeault (Nancy), Len Thibeault (Ellen), Richard Thibeault (Sue), and Michael Thibeault.
Norm was passionate about his career as a counsellor at the Rehabilitation Center with Health Sciences North. In his spare time and in retirement, Norm enjoyed golfing, camping, a love for cars and he was an avid collector of sports memorabilia. He will be sorely missed by his extended family and friends.
The family invites you to join in the celebration of Norm’s life at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Friday, March 14, 2025, between the hours of 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 12 p.m. Norm will be laid to rest at All Saints Mausoleum.
