North Bay Announces Arts and Culture Nights Series Lineup

The City of North Bay is pleased to announced that its Arts & Culture Nights will be returning to the Kiwanis Bandshell this summer.

This series of performances, held on selected Tuesday nights throughout July and August, is aimed at providing the public an opportunity to discover and engage with diverse forms of art and cultural experiences and performances through interactive or passive participation.

The North Bay Arts and Culture Nights are complemented by the North Bay Summer Concert Series, held on select Wednesday nights throughout the summer at the Kiwanis Bandshell.

The lineup for this year's series includes:

·        Rose-Erin Stokes

·        Irish and Scottish Gaelic Night with David James McCallum

·        Jessica Roveda

·        Pa.II and Nyama Nuama Sound

·        Les Compagnons des Francs Loisirs - BAM Percussion

·        Hyper Boreal Sound and Light

·        VII-Major

·        Community All Ages Silent Disco

·        Latin Sounds with Samanta Left

·        House Party

“It's all about highlighting local talent and giving the community a chance to explore the diverse art and cultural experiences North Bay has to offer, whether you want to get involved or just sit back and enjoy,” said Bryan Kimber, Community Development Coordinator.

The series launches on June 27 at 7 p.m. with Rose-Erin Stokes’ acoustic melodies. Grab a lawn chair and head down to the Waterfront for some live music. Admission is free. Parking is free.

Also stay tuned for an upcoming announcement related to the lineup for the Hot Summer Nights Music Festival, taking place during the Civic Holiday weekend in August.
