North Bay Duplicate Bridge Club hosting tournament next month

The North Bay Duplicate Bridge Club is getting ready to welcome upwards of 100 players to its Gateway to the North Sectional next month.

The three-day event takes place April 10-12 at the Osprey Links clubhouse, with a team game on the final day.

Officials say players are coming from Sudbury, New Liskeard, Toronto, Barrie, and the North Bay area.

If you’re looking to learn how to play Bridge, the club is offering beginner lessons starting Apr. 21 and running Tuesdays and Fridays.

There is no cost for the lessons, which take place at Omond Memorial United Church on McKenzie Avenue.
