North Bay hosting Level Up! Skilled Trades Career Fair next month

Ontario’s Level Up! Skilled Trades Career Fair is expanding to seven more communities this year, including North Bay.  

Officials say over 35,000 students from grades 7 to 12 will have the opportunity to explore over 140 skilled trades at 15 events being held from Sept. 12 to Nov. 28.  

There are hands-on activities and interactive exhibitions, with tradespeople and local employers on site, too. 

Each fair will feature: 

• Safety in the construction, industrial, service and manufacturing trades 
• Trainers and employers on site. 

North Bay’s fair is being held on Oct. 16 at Nipissing University.  

The provincial initiative is now into its third year.
