North Bay Police Arrest Brandon ROY on Canada-wide Warrant
The North Bay Police Service has arrested 30-year-old Brandon ROY, who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
On December 6, 2024, while conducting a foot patrol of North Bay’s downtown core, a member of the North Bay Police Service located Brandon ROY in the 200-block of Main Street East. ROY was arrested after a brief foot chase.
The North Bay Police Service arrested Brandon ROY, male, age 30, for whom a Canada-wide warrant was issued earlier this month. Roy is serving a two-year sentence for:
- One count of armed robbery
- One count of assault
- Three counts of failing to comply with an order at large
- One count of failure to comply with a Sex Offender Information Registry Act order
- Two counts of failing to attend court
- Five counts of theft under
- One count of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
The Ontario Provincial Police’s Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad had been seeking to locate ROY after he had broken his statutory release.
