North Bay Police Arrest, Charge Two in Drug Trafficking Investigation
Members of the North Bay Police Service arrested and charged a 41-year-old male and 52-year-old female as part of a drug trafficking investigation.
The accused in this incident are:
Stephen CORNISH, male, age 41, of North Bay, who is charged with:
- One count of Unauthorized possession of a weapon
- One count of Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
- One count of Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000
- Two counts of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Three counts of Failure to comply with prohibition order
- One count of Failure to comply with probation order
Cindy DIVER, female, age 52, of North Bay, who is charged with:
- Two counts of Possession of a Schedule I substance
Searches by police resulted in the seizure of:
- Approximately 2 grams of suspected cocaine
- Approximately 600 mL of suspected methadone
- An edged “throwing star”-style weapon (prohibited weapon)
Drugs seized have an estimated street value of approximately $490.
The accused were released on an Undertaking and are set to appear before the court on August 27, 2024.
