North Bay Police Arrest Two Women Seek Public Help to Identify Male Suspect
The North Bay Police Service arrested two 29-year-old women on multiple charges of theft and is seeking assistance from the public to identify a male suspect.
On January 10, 2025, at approximately 6:45 p.m. accused HARMON and a male suspect entered a business on Algonquin Avenue and stole over $1,000-worth of items belonging to the business.
On January 11, 2025, at approximately 12:00 p.m., the two accused and a male suspect attended the parking garage of a shopping centre in the 1500-block of Fisher Street and stole a PlayStation 5 gaming console from the victim as the victim attempted to load the item into his vehicle. Later that same day, accused HARMON and the male suspect returned to the Algonquin Avenue business they had attended on January 10 and stole approximately $250-worth of items belonging to the business. Officers attended the area and located accused HARMON in the parking lot where she was arrested and charged.
On January 12, 2025, members of the North Bay Police Service located accused LANKOCZ at a gas station on Seymour Street, North Bay, where she was arrested and charged.
The accused in this incident are:
Shawna Alexia HARMON, female, age 29, of Toronto, Ontario, who is charged with:
- Four counts of Theft Under $5,000
Monika Cindy LANKOCZ, female, age 29, of Bonfield, Ontario, who is charged with:
- Two counts of Theft Under $5,000
The two accused in this incident were held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
