North Bay Police Arrest Woman for Assault

The North Bay Police Service arrested a 26-year-old woman for assault and assault with a weapon.

At approximately 6:00 p.m. on December 17, 2024, the accused was present on the property of a business on Main Street East, North Bay. The accused had previously been asked to stay off theNorth Bay Police Arrest Woman for Assault property. The victim confronted the accused, again asking that the accused leave the property. In response, the accused spat at and threw a cup of coffee at the victim. Members of the North Bay Police Service attended the location, arrested and charged the accused.

The accused in this incident is Michaela SMITH, female, age 26, of North Bay, who is charged with:

• One count of Assault
• One count of Assault with a Weapon
• One count of Fail to Comply with Probation Order

The accused in this incident was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear before the court on January 21, 2025.
