North Bay Police Locate, Arrest Suspect in Thefts

The North Bay Police Service would like to thank members of the public and our media partners for submitting tips and helping to raise awareness about this investigation.

The North Bay Police Service has arrested a 39-year-old female as part of an investigation into thefts from a local business.

The accused in this incident is a 39-year-old female from North Bay, who is charged with:

  • Three counts of Theft Under $5,000

On multiple occasions spanning December 2024 and January 2025, the accused attended the same business in the 1800-block of Algonquin Avenue, North Bay, and stole multiple items amounting to an estimated total of approximately $330.

On January 9, 2025, the North Bay Police Service released security camera images of the suspect and appealed to the public for help identifying her.

On January 14, 2025, the North Bay Police Service received an anonymous tip which assisted in the identification and location of the accused. Police arrested the accused later that day.

The accused was released on an Undertaking and is set to appear before the court on February 18, 2025.
