North Bay Police Seek Public Help to Identify Suspect Vehicle in Theft

The North Bay Police Service is seeking assistance from the public to identify the owner or operator of a vehicle involved in a theft that occurred on February 13, 2025.

At approximately 4:30 a.m. on February 13, 2025, the suspect car – a black Ford Taurus – was observed for an extended period of time near a business in the 200-block of Birchs Road, North Bay. Shortly after the suspect vehicle left the area, a pick-up truck, which was later identified as a stolen vehicle, attended and stole a trailer loaded with multiple pieces of property. The total estimated value of the trailer and contents was more than $10,000. The pick-up truck, trailer and contents were later recovered by members of the Ontario Provincial Police.

North Bay Police Seek Public Help to Identify Suspect Vehicle in Theft

The pick-up truck involved in this incident is believed to have been stolen around 4:00 a.m. on February 13, 2025, from a business in the 1300-block of Hammond Street, North Bay, Between McGaughey Avenue and York Street.

The North Bay Police Service has reason to believe the operator of the black Ford Taurus was involved in the theft and are seeking assistance from the public to identify the suspect.
