Throughout the month of June, 2024, the North Bay Police Service conducted an enhanced enforcement campaign, targeting outstanding arrest warrants for a variety of criminal offences. The enforcement initiative resulted in the arrest of 53 individuals with a combined total of 127 charges.
The majority of charges related to failures to comply with release orders, undertakings, or probation and failures to appear in court. Additional charges included arson, assault, break & enter, possession of a controlled substance, and theft of a motor vehicle, among others.
“Thanks to the diligent work of our offices, these individuals who were evading arrest are now being held accountable for their criminal conduct,” said the North Bay Police Service’s Inspector of Operations, Jeff Warner. “Our efforts to locate offenders does not stop with this targeted enforcement initiative.
