North Bay Police Prohibit taking Photographs on their Property

The North Bay Police Service has recently posted signage at the entrances to their building prohibiting the recording or taking of photographs on the property without prior permission from the Chief of Police.

This is in response to some increased activity throughout Ontario where civilian employees and police officers were being put at risk by aggressive photographing and video taking.

This also aims at protecting the privacy interests of those who are attending the police station.
