Drugs Seized in Street Crime Investigation
Good work by the North Bay police Street Crime Unit took drugs off our Streets and put the criminals behind bars. A 37-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, both of North Bay, were arrested and more than $9,000 in drugs were seized Wednesday, after an investigation by the North Bay Police Service’s Street Crime Unit.
On the 24th of April, at around 5:00 pm, after a brief investigation, officers from the North Bay Police Street Crime Unit arrested both accused in a parking lot on Cassells Street in North Bay.
The Accused in this incident are:
James Allen CLINKARD, age 37, of North Bay, who is charged with:
· Five counts of Possession of a Scheduled 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
· One count of Possession of a Scheduled 1 Substance
Roxanne Diane Mary DENNE, age 34, of North Bay, who is charged with:
· Five counts of Possession of a Scheduled 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
· One count of Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
· One count of Fail to Comply with Undertaking
The total street value of the drugs and cash seized during this investigation was approximately $9728.30.
Both the accused were held in custody for a bail hearing.
