North Bay Police welcome new local constable

By Richard Coffin

A grad of St. Joseph-Scollard Hall and Canadore College is joining the ranks of the North Bay Police Service.

Nathan Wright was sworn in as a constable at a ceremony Monday afternoon.

Officials say he was the successful candidate for the Cadet Recruit-in-Training position.

After completing the two-year Police Foundations Program at Canadore, Wright was employed by Ontario Provincial Police as a police cadet.

He volunteers by coaching and refereeing high school football and with the North Bay Bulldogs.
