North Bay Residents Invited to Celebrate Streetscapes 2026 Award Finalists
Clean, Green, Beautiful North Bay invites the community to celebrate the gardens, landscapes, and outdoor spaces that help keep North Bay clean, green, and beautiful at the Streetscapes 2026 Awards Ceremony on Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at Laporte's Nursery and Greenhouse.
The annual Streetscapes initiative recognizes residents and businesses whose outdoor spaces enhance the beauty of North Bay while promoting environmental stewardship and community pride. From vibrant front yards and edible gardens to natural landscapes, balconies, and welcoming business properties, Streetscapes celebrates the many ways people contribute to a greener and more beautiful city.
This year's finalists have been selected in six categories:
- Overall Curb Appeal
- Therapeutic Garden
- Edible Garden
- Business Streetscape
A panel of local gardening experts selected the finalists after reviewing nominations submitted by community members throughout the summer.
"Streetscapes is about recognizing the people whose care and creativity make our neighbourhoods more welcoming and beautiful," says Hariett Madigan, Chair of Clean, Green, Beautiful North Bay. "These gardens and landscapes inspire others to get involved, whether that's planting flowers, growing food, or simply taking pride in the place they call home."
The awards ceremony is open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend to help celebrate this year's finalists and the positive impact they have on the community.
