Expect the Jack Burrows Parkette to be a bustling hub of holiday activity this Saturday.

That’s because the first of four outdoor winter markets is taking place from 4-8 pm that day.

There will be mini train rides, artisan vendors, visits with Santa, holiday film screenings, live music, Francophone programming, museum tours, and more.

Several groups are partnering for the markets, including Tourism North Bay, the City of North Bay, Downtown North Bay & Waterfront, Creative Industries and The Artisans Way.

Officials say last year’s market series was a success and exceeded attendance expectations.

They’re taking place the next three Saturdays, and on Friday, Nov. 28 with the Downtown Old-Fashioned Christmas Walk.
