NORTH BAY – TOURISM NORTH BAY LAUNCHES BOLD NEW SEASONAL CAMPAIGN

 Tourism North Bay is excited to launch the summer video of their 2026 Seasonal Campaign: Nothing, Nowhere, Everywhere: North Bay — a refreshingly unconventional take on destination marketing that leans into sarcastic humour to showcase everything that makes North Bay unforgettable.

Not your typical tourism video filled with sweeping narration and predictable taglines, this campaign flips the script. With tongue planted firmly in cheek, the video playfully downplays North Bay as “nothing” and “nowhere,” only to reveal a destination overflowing with pristine lakes, epic trails, vibrant waterfronts, dynamic people and authentic Northern Ontario experiences.

 “This campaign is about confidence,” says Tanya Bédard, Executive Director of Tourism North Bay. “We know how incredible our backyard is. Instead of telling people how amazing it is in the traditional way, we decided to have a little fun with it — because anyone who’s been here knows North Bay is anything but nothing.”

 What makes the campaign even more powerful is that it is entirely homegrown. Every element of the production was created by North Bay talent. From our local actor, Morgan Bedard delivering the perfectly timed dry humour, to Derek Diorio from Distinct Features, an award-winning advertising copywriter and motion pictures director and producer who wrote and directed the campaign to Richard Fortin and Aidan Paul at RFPMEDIA who were the audio and video production team behind the lens, the project is a true community collaboration. The featured locations span iconic and hidden-gem settings throughout the city, while additional b-roll footage was captured by multiple North Bay videographers, showcasing the region through authentic local perspectives.

 “This isn’t just a campaign about North Bay — it was built by North Bay,” adds Bédard. “Our creative community is incredibly talented, and this project gave us the opportunity to highlight that while also highlighting the destination itself.”

 The summer video is the first release in the 2026 seasonal rollout. Fall and winter installments are set to launch later this year and will follow the same witty premise, continuing to challenge expectations while celebrating the year-round experiences that make North Bay a four-season destination.

 From sun-soaked days on Lake Nipissing to trail adventures and patio evenings across the city, Nothing, Nowhere, Everywhere: North Bay invites visitors to discover that sometimes the places called “nowhere” are exactly where you want to be.

 The summer campaign video is now live across Tourism North Bay’s digital platforms including our You Tube channel.
