Oh-No! 15-25 cm of snow expected Monday

Snowfall Warning in effect for:
- North Bay - Powassan - Mattawa
Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning. Heavy snow followed by strong winds and local blowing snow. Snow, at times heavy. Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm. Peak snowfall rates of 3 to 5 cm per hour.
Reduced visibility in snow and local blowing snow.
Starting Monday morning through Tuesday morning.
Snow will begin for the Sudbury area early Monday morning before advancing eastward into central Ontario by Monday afternoon. Snow is expected to taper to flurries from west to east overnight into Tuesday morning.
In addition, northerly winds will intensify Monday afternoon over northeastern Ontario and over central Ontario Monday night with gusts up to 60 km/h. The combination of these strong wind gusts and fresh snowfall may lead to localized reduced visibility in blowing snow.
Rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult.
