On The Move
Area drivers can expect to see an increase in military traffic on major highways in the north this weekend.
Canadian Army Reserve personnel and vehicles from 33 Canadian Brigade Group will be moving personnel and equipment from North Bay, Sudbury and Timmins to Burwash for a training exercise.
Exercise WOLFHOUND STRIKE involves simulated combat operations and will include personnel from The Algonquin Regiment, 33 Service Battalion and The Irish Regiment of Canada.
Military vehicles will be travelling along Highways 11 and 17 with increased traffic on Friday night and Sunday afternoon.
