One Kids Place summer camps open for registration

By Richard Coffin
Registration is underway for summer camp programs at One Kids Place (OKP).
The Children’s Treatment Centre says the camps provide children and youth with special needs the chance to engage in social and recreational activities within a supportive, individualized environment.
Officials say kids taking part will be able to explore new interests, develop essential skills, and build meaningful connections with their peers.
They add the former Autism Summer Camp and the NADY Summer Camps have been combined into one comprehensive experience.
Partial subsidies are also being offered for each camper, thanks to ongoing community support.
“These camps go beyond fun by promoting social-emotional learning, fostering relationship-building, and encouraging personal growth,” states a release. “Families can feel confident their child will thrive in an environment tailored for success this summer.”
