One person dead after weekend collision on Highway 11 North
Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision on Highway 11 in Marten River.
The Temiskaming OPP says officers and emergency crews responded to the crash at about 10:45 pm Saturday on Highway 11 near Richfield Road in Marten River, with officials confirming the only person in the vehicle died.
Police say their identity is not being released at this time, pending notification of next of kin and further investigation.
Highway 11 was closed for several hours after the collision.
