Online voting information sessions being held in North Bay
The municipal election is five weeks away, and the city is hosting a couple of drop-in information sessions to learn more about online voting.
“Residents can stop by at any time during the sessions to ask questions about the voting process, learn how online voting will work, and find out more about getting assistance during the voting period,” states a release.
The first session is Tuesday, Sept. 22 (noon to 7 pm) at Boart Longyear Memorial Gardens with a second event on Monday, Oct. 5 (noon to 7 pm) at WFCU Place.

You’ll be able to cast a ballot from 10 am on Oct. 15 until 8 pm on Oct. 26.
The city says residents will be able to vote online using a computer, tablet or smartphone.
They add for those who need assistance or access to a device, in-person support and voting devices will be available at designated voter assistance locations.
