Ontario Enduro mountain biking series in North Bay this weekend

Over 70 racers from across Ontario are converging on the city for a weekend of Enduro-style mountain bike racing.
The North Bay Mountain Bike Association (NBMBA) is hosting the Ontario Enduro Series event Aug. 9-10.
“This event is more than just racing,” says Connie Hergott, volunteer board member for NBMBA. “It’s about showcasing the incredible trails we’ve built through volunteer effort and putting the City of North Bay on the map as a bike tourism destination.
On Saturday, riders will tackle the Three Towers Trails, which officials say are known for fast descents, granite features, and meandering climbs.
That’s followed by a high energy Pump Track Party at the new All-Wheel Park downtown on Saturday evening.
On Sunday, the action moves to the Laurentian Escarpment Trails, which officials say offers a more flowy ride with scenic views and technical features showcasing the natural beauty of North Bay’s escarpment.
Spectators are welcome with details at NBMBA.ca.
