OPP investigating fatal UTV crash

Almaguin Highlands OPP are investigating a fatal collision on Rain Lake Road in Kearney involving a side-by-side utility terrain vehicle.  

Police say emergency crews were dispatched to the rollover last Friday afternoon, with both the driver and passenger ejected from the UTV.  

They say the driver was pronounced deceased at the hospital, and the passenger suffered serious life-altering injuries.  

The investigation continues. 

OPP say the road was closed for about seven hours after the crash.
