Almaguin Highlands OPP have charged the driver of a commercial motor vehicle after a collision resulted in the lengthy closure of Highway 11 on Monday.

Police say emergency crews responded to the two-vehicle crash at 10:15 am on Monday in South River, just south of Beachy Road.

Investigators determined one transport jack‑knifed, blocking the southbound lanes, with a second commercial vehicle colliding with the disabled vehicle.
