After a lengthy illness, Simone has passed away peacefully on her own terms surrounded by her family on Friday, January 9, 2026, at the age of 66.
Dear daughter of the late Omer and Fay Parisien. Cherished sister of Cheryl Everitt (Ed), Ron Parisien (Denise), and Ellen Sloat (Geordie). She will be missed by a number of nieces and nephews.
Simone and her family would like to thank Amanda Campagnaro and Tonie Mills of Health Sciences North, Emily of Home Care North Bay, Dr. Locke and Dr. Leckie of North Bay for their support and care. A special thank you to Simone’s bestie, Carol on the 6th floor of the apartment.
As per Simone’s wishes, cremation has taken place. She will be interred with her parents in the spring.
