Paving work on Champlain Street Thursday

By Richard Coffin

The city is advising drivers that asphalt repairs will take place on Champlain Street between Algonquin Avenue and McKeown Avenue today (Thursday, July 16).

Officials say during the work, sections of the road will be fully closed with no through traffic.

They add businesses with no alternate access will be accommodated.

The repairs are expected to take most of the day to complete.

Drivers are being told they should expect delays and are encouraged to plan alternate routes where possible.
