Payout continues for North Bay casino

Another $406,000 is heading to the city coffers.
It’s the latest quarterly payment from Ontario Lottery and Gaming for the city hosting Cascades Casino.
It represents the fourth quarter payment (Jan 1-March 31) and brings the total to $1.7 million during the fiscal year.
Since the gaming site opened in March 2022, North Bay has received over $4.8 million.
“Cascades Casino North Bay strengthens our community through sharing gaming revenue that supports local priorities and programs,” says Vic Fedeli, Member of Provincial Parliament for Nipissing. “In addition to job creation and community support, the Municipality Contribution Agreement with OLG delivers substantial benefits to North Bay.”
Locally, the money is used as a funding source for community capital projects.
