Garson Man Charged After Hitting a Pedestrian
A Garson man was charged under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario, following a collision between a motor vehicle and a pedestrian near Memorial Gardens, in North Bay.
On January 5th, at around 6:45 pm a North Bay youth was crossing the street at Ferguson Street and Chippewa Street, when he was struck by a motor vehicle. The youth sustained minor injuries and was transported to hospital where he was treated and released. A 56-year-old Male from Garson, Ontario, was charged with “Fail to Stop at Crossover”
The North Bay Police Service is reminding all motorists to be attentive to their surroundings, and take extra precautions in winter, especially during the evening hours, when visibility is reduced due to darkness.
