PFAFF, Grace (nee Sopher)

Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family at the Soldiers Memorial Hospital (Orillia) on Thursday April 23, 2026, at the age of 85 years.

Grace was the beloved wife of the late Neil Pfaff, and the loving mother to Kenton Sopher. She was the much-loved aunt to many nieces and nephews. Grace is predeceased by her siblings Laura Dobson (Gord) and Kathleen Brandt (Carman), as well as her parents William Sopher and Isabella (nee Wallis) Sopher.

When Grace wasn’t working hard at the church she could be found Gardening, playing Scrabble or baking, especially her legendary Jam Jam cookies.

Grace’s family will be receiving visitors at the Powassan Wesleyan Church on Tuesday April 28, 2026, between the hours of 11 am to 1 pm. A service will follow at 1 pm.

If desired, donations to the Powassan Wesleyan Church, or the Nipissing Serenity Hospice would be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
