PIPE, June

Passed away suddenly at her home on Wednesday July 17, 2024.  June (nee Guthro, Froggett) was 86 years old.

Loving mother of Frank (Sherry), Don (Kathleen), Donna Guthro (Dean Rowe), Jackie Guthro (Brian Coates), Teresa Blum (Harry) and Lynne Hawkins (predeceased by John).  Lovingly remembered by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews and extended family who thought of her as a mom or grandma.

June was predeceased by her parents, Ted and Madge Froggett, daughter Susan Guthro, granddaughter Lisa Hawkins and sister Betty Cote.

June had many occupations in her life, but the two she was proud of were owning a truck driving school in North Bay with her previous husband and driving a school bus.

A very special thank you goes to Dr. Melanie O’Grady for her great care, also a special thank you goes to all the staff on C1 for everything that they did for her.

If desired, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation as expressions of sympathy.

A Celebration of Life and luncheon will be held on August 10, 2024, between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. at West Ferris Legion, Lamorie St.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Martyn Funeral Home, and online condolences can be offered at www.martynfh.com
