Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Thursday April 9, 2026, at the age of 90 years.

Desneiges was the beloved wife of the late Allan Plain and the loving mother to Diane Kitchenico (Richard), Claude Marcotte (Brenda), and Mike Marcotte (Karen). She was the cherished grandmother to 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Desneiges is predeceased by her parents.

As per Her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will occur at a later date.

If desired, donations to a charity of choice be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
