We’re two months away from another Polar Plunge for Special Olympics.

The North Bay Police Service is hosting the fundraising event on March 7.

All funds will go directly toward the 2027 Special Olympics Ontario Provincial Winter Games, which are being hosted by city police a year from now.

Officials say the goal is to raise $50,000.

Registration for the March 7 event is taking place online, with individuals and teams welcome to sign up.

Over $48,000 was raised at last year’s plunge.

It’s once again taking place at the NUSU Student Centre on College Drive.
