Police investigation leads to drug trafficking charges and more
Two city residents, a 43-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man are both facing drug trafficking charges as part of an ongoing police investigation.
The North Bay Police Service says a search warrant was executed at a Main Street West residence on Aug. 29 with suspected cocaine, fentanyl and crack cocaine seized.
A machete was also seized.
The estimated street value of the drugs is just over $6,300.
The accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
