Police investigation Sunday in area of Rose and Algonquin
There are only a few details so far, but the North Bay Police Service advised of an active investigation in the area of Rose and Algonquin avenues Sunday afternoon.
A community alert was posted on social media just before 3 pm.
Police say the Emergency Response Team cleared the area about two and a half hours later, with residents safely returning to their homes, and no ongoing risk to public safety.
They add there were no injuries reported.
