Police Lay Attempted Murder Charges following Stabbing Incident
Police Lay Charges in June 27, 2024, Stabbing Incident
The North Bay Police Service has arrested and charged a 24-year-old man in relation to a stabbing, which occurred on June 27, 2024.
On June 27, 2024, at approximately 6:30 p.m., members of the North Bay Police Service responded to an incident in the 1200 block of Lakeshore Drive. The victim was located outside a residence, suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was being assisted by individuals that had gathered to help. EMS transported the victim to hospital where he was later discharged.
On June 28, 2024, members of the North Bay Police Service located and arrested the accused.
The accused in this incident is Jeremy Arthur MORIN, male, age 24, of North Bay, who is charged with:
· One count of Attempt to Commit Murder
· One count of Assault with A Weapon
· One count of Fail to Comply with Probation Order
· One count of Aggravated Assault
· One count of Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
