Powassan celebrating maple syrup on Saturday
The Powassan Maple Syrup Festival returns on Saturday.
Along with pancake breakfasts there is the pancake flipping contest, maple baked bean lunch, there are plenty of food and craft vendors on Main and Clark Streets along with the Sportsplex and curling club.
Along with live music, there’s also a lumberjack show, reptile adventure camp and more.

Officials say parking is very limited in town with offsite parking available at Evan Hughes’ Contracting on Highway 534.
There are two shuttle buses running from 9-4 into town and to Matthew’s sugar bush.
