Premier wants students to watch Olympic hockey

By Richard Coffin

Premier Doug Ford has given an assignment to students in Ontario — watch Olympic hockey.

In a social media post, Ford says he has directed his Minister of Education to make sure all students in the province are able to watch the remaining Team Canada hockey games that take place during school hours.

Canada’s women play the United States in the gold medal game Thursday at 1:10 pm while the men are in the semifinals, playing Finland on Friday at 10:40 am.

Ford says after the incredible performances we’ve seen from the two teams, all of Canada is cheering them on.

There’s no word if there will be a test afterwards.
