PRIEUR, Normand

Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of his family at the West Nipissing General Hospital on Thursday January 8, 2026, at the age of 60 years.

Normand was the loving brother to Danielle Prieur (Joseph O’Malley), and Jamai Veaudry. He is predeceased by his parents Leonard Prieur and Lucille (nee Martin) Prieur, and will be greatly missed by his Aunties, cousins and friends far and wide.  

“Ti Nomme” was a kind, gentle, loving, funny, selfless and carefree soul who was a huge Bugs Bunny fan, loved fishing off the dock in Cache Bay, playing euchre and cribbage was an avid gamer that mastered building gaming computers and took pleasure in cooking almost as much as he enjoyed eating.  

As per Norm’s wishes, cremation has taken place followed by a Celebration of Life at “camp” this spring/summer that will be announced at a later date for anyone wishing to attend.
