Propair flights from North Bay to Toronto start in February
A new air service will be connecting North Bay with Toronto starting this winter.
Propair, a regional air carrier based in Northern Quebec, is launching the service from Jack Garland Airport in February.

The move comes as Air Canada is suspending its flights from North Bay to Toronto, effective Jan. 30.
Propair says its aircraft, a Beechcraft 1900D, will accommodate up to 18 passengers and will operate regular flights from North Bay to Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.
Online bookings are available five days a week, starting Feb. 16.
The airline also says a shuttle service will be available to Toronto Pearson International Airport.
“Northern Quebec and Northern Ontario face significant gaps in air service, and Propair is proud to help improve the situation,” says Justin Lemieux, General Manager of Propair. “Accessibility plays a key role in the economic and cultural development of our communities.”
Officials say the new service will strengthen mobility between Toronto and North Bay, while contributing to improved accessibility for northern regions.
They add the announcement comes weeks after the launch of Propair’s new routes connecting Sudbury to Ottawa, Montreal, and Quebec City, to serve the same mission of improving air service to underserved Canadian regions.
