Provincial funding for infrastructure repairs and upgrades

Four community agencies in Nipissing are receiving nearly $900,000 in provincial funding.
Vic Fedeli, MPP for Nipissing, says the money will help fund critical infrastructure repairs and upgrades.
“The Ontario government recognizes that local organizations like the Children’s Aid Society, Karis Disability Service (North Region), Community Living North Bay, and Nipissing Transition House play a vital role in delivering essential services to people in Nipissing,” says Fedeli. “Through the Partner Facility Renewal Programs funding, the province is helping local service providers make critical enhancements so they can continue providing support to the people who need them most.”
local agencies receiving funding include:
· $556,800 to the Children’s Aid Society of the District of Nipissing and Parry Sound.
· $299,200 to Karis Disability Services (North Region).
· $32,400 to Community Living North Bay.
· $3,800 to Nipissing Transition House.
Across the province, funding is supporting improvements to roofing and air conditioning systems, enhanced security features, and accessibility retrofits to kitchens and bathrooms.
