Raymond Bailey
It is with great sadness that we announce Ray's passing on May 20, 2024 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre surrounded by his loving family at the age of 90.
He was the beloved husband of Donna Bailey (McGruthers) for 63 years. He was the much-loved father of Susan Rinneard (Rick), Larry and Roger Bailey (Judith).
Cherished Popa to Justin Bailey (Andrée), Craig and Julia Rinneard, Paige Bailey (Chad), Zachary Campbell (Tav). Great-Popa to Callie, Micah, Alyssa, and Ava.
He will also be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews as well as anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Predeceased by his parents, Sam and Eva Bailey, brothers Elmer (Laurette), Edgar (Annie), Willis (Evelyn), Ronald (Alice), Dawson and Wallace as well as his sisters Hilda Charette (Philip), Doris Descheno (Wilfred), Audrey Monaghan (Stan), Marjorie McIsaac (Howard).
Ray was a roofer for most of his life, owned his own business for many years. He built a cottage in Temiscaming, Quebec where our family enjoyed many summers on Tee Lake.
Family are receiving friends at Hillside Funeral Services, 362 Airport Rd. on Saturday, May 25 from 10 am until 12 noon. Funeral service to follow also at Hillside.
