Recovery Rocks event being held Saturday
The community is being invited to celebrate the power of recovery this weekend.
The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) North Bay and District says Recovery Rocks will include connection, stories of lived experience, a community meal, music and hope.
It’s being held on Saturday at the newly opened Shadfly House at 151 Main Street East.
Local band The Free is performing, led by CMHA North Bay and District recovery champion Darren.
“Open about his own recovery journey, Darren uses music to share hope, foster connection and remind others that recovery is possible,” states a release.
Saturday’s event takes place from 3-9 pm.
