“Redpath Rotary4Kids Day”

March 26th Proclaimed as “Redpath Rotary4Kids Day”
As part of the Rotary club’s 23rd annual rotary4kids fundraiser, the City of North Bay proclaimed today as Redpath Rotary4Kids Day, with the raising of the Rotary International flag at city hall.
Each year the fundraiser generates much needed funds in support of area children and youth with special needs.
These needs range from the purchase of assistive devices, home renovations, vehicle conversions, enrollment into various programs, assistance to cover uninsured medical costs and out of town travel and funding for special needs teams, just to name a few.
Country 90.5 FM’s morning host Kevin Oschefski will be taking to the airwaves at 5:00 am tomorrow morning and will broadcast until 10 am on Friday.
Donations can be made online anytime at www.rotary4kids.ca or by calling 249.506.1204 during the broadcast. And in person on the Thursday at the radio station (122 Main St. E.), at the Community Pancake Breakfast being hosted by One Kids Place from 6-9 am (with a donation at the door) or at Burger World on Algonquin between 5 and 7 pm.And finally, at the wrap-up breakfast at the YMCA on Friday from 7-10 am, courtesy of Cecil’s Brewhouse & Kitchen, with a donation at the door.
