Reduce Waste & Support Reuse with Goods Exchange Day
The City of North Bay invites residents to take part in its Goods Exchange Day on Saturday, April 25.

The City of North Bay invites residents to take part in its Goods Exchange Day on Saturday, April 25.

This biannual community initiative encourages residents to extend the life of items they no longer need by placing them at the curb for others to take. Typical items include furniture, small appliances, books, toys, sporting equipment, kitchenware, and other household items in good condition.

There are two ways to participate. Residents can give by setting out usable, unwanted items at the curb of their residence.  Alternatively, they can take by browsing the neighbourhood and discovering treasures they can use.

Items should be placed at the curb after 8 a.m. and any remaining items must be removed by 6 p.m. There will be no special pickup of leftover items. Residents are responsible for removing any items left at the end of the day.
