Richard Beaudry

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Richard Jacques Beaudry, who died peacefully at home on May 31, 2025, at the age of 55.

Born on May 23, 1970, in Sturgeon Falls to Claire Arcand and Jacques Beaudry, Richard was raised in Verner and later lived and worked in various beautiful places across Canada as a skilled millwright.

Richard will be remembered for his sharp sense of humour, strong work ethic, unwavering dedication to family, and generous spirit. His life was a true testament to the power of love, connection, and bringing people together.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Sherry Beaudry, and their children, Patrick and Paris Beaudry; his mother, Claire Arcand; and his siblings, Christine and Emile Beaudry. He was predeceased by his father, Jacques Beaudry.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 6, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Paroisse Résurrection (109 3rd Street, Sturgeon Falls). A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, June 7, at 11:00 a.m. at Paroisse St-Jean-Baptiste Church in Verner. 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Richard’s memory.

Though he may be gone, Richard’s memory and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May the sight of hummingbirds remind us of his enduring presence and everlasting love.
