Road Closure Notice – Main Street West

Monday, Nov. 10 from 10 a.m.

Please be advised that a section of Main Street West will be closed on Monday, Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. until approximately 3 p.m. to allow for the removal of the pedestrian traffic signal located between Timmins Street and Nipissing Street.

Once removed, pedestrians and cyclists accessing the multi-use path are asked to use the All-Way Stop at Nipissing Street to cross safely.

During the closure, traffic will be detoured as follows:

·        Southbound traffic heading toward the downtown core will be detoured via Nipissing Street, Gorman Street, and Timmins Street back to Main Street West.

·        Northbound traffic on Main Street West will be detoured east on Timmins Street, then north on Jane Street to Gormanville Road.

 Please follow all posted signs and use caution while work is underway.
