Robbery with Violence

The North Bay Police Service arrested a 32-year-old man for robbery.
At approximately 11:50 p.m. on March 8, 2025, the accused in this incident attended a convenience store in the 1100-block of Cassells Street, North Bay. The accused approached an employee at the business and attempted to take an item from the employee’s hand.
When the accused was unsuccessful, he attempted to assault the employee before leaving the store briefly. The accused then re-entered the store and stole several items of property before leaving the area.
On March 9, 2025, members of the North Bay Police Service located and arrested the accused.
The victim did not sustain physical injuries as a result of this incident. No weapon was used in this incident.
The accused in this incident is Michael BUCHNER, male, age 32, of North Bay, who is charged with:
- One count of Robbery with Violence
- One count of Fail to Comply with Probation Order
