Ronald Major

Ronald Major, age 62, passed away on the morning of September 27, 2026

A strong, hardworking man with a generous spirit, Ron was always the first to show up whenever someone needed a hand. He approached life with joy and an energy that touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

He was a loving son, a wonderful brother, a great uncle, a devoted husband to Julie, dedicated father to Lindsy (Justin) and Ray and quite simply the funniest PiPaw his grandkids, Bryson, Skyler and Waylen, could have ever asked for, taking them on great adventures. Nothing brought him more pride or joy than spending time with his family—whether camping, fishing, four-wheeling/snowmobiling, walks with his dogs Kipper and *Shylo* or just sitting with a coffee to chat.

When he wasn't outdoors or with his family, Ron could almost always be found in his element: tinkering in his shed or tackling his latest home improvement project. He was a master of fixing things and building a life filled with laughter and love for those around him.

Ron touched the lives of so many and leaves behind a void that can never be filled, but a legacy of strength, hard work, joy and countless happy memories that will live on forever. He is survived by his siblings Bonnie Bon (Predeceased -Dave), Joanne Forbes (Don), Joyce Boudreau (Allan), Richard Major (Cheryl), Gerald Major (Lori)

He was predeceased by his parents Aline Major (Desrosiers)and Raymond Major 

 Respecting Ron’s wishes he will be cremated.

 Details regarding a celebration of life will be announced by the family at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to “A Living Tribute” - Ron had such respect for nature, and we hope his legacy will live through the nature that he loved.
